You are not aware that the High Commission is closed to the Public? Please, endeavour to check the website or our social media platforms before embarking on a trip to Ottawa for Passport renewal. These are challenging times. We have no control over the decisions of the Canadian government. Thanks.

How does the Intervention Team determine which Province to visit or better put, any clue on when the team would visit Saskatchewan (Saskatoon/Regina) this year?

Dan, The Nigerian Canadian Associations in far away Provinces get a critical mass of Nigerians who are in need of Passport renewal to register on our website. The Association is in charge of the compilation of those who have registered. The PRO sends a mail to the High Commission notifying us of their readiness for the Intervention team. They also pick a weekend that is favourable to Nigerians and send us the dates and list of applicants. So the Associations are partly in control, we only come in for the biometrics capture exercise. However, if you are not a member of the Association, you may not get to hear about it. The Association in Saskatoon will determine the date.
