Unfortunately, the team left this morning for Ottawa. Please, contact the Nigerian Canadian Association in Regina to see if you can join them. I think they are next in line for the exercise.

Hi there, I urgently need to renew my international passport. The earliest date i was able to book was the 28th of July at the consulate in Ottawa. How long is this going to run for?

I received am email that the embassy will remain closed till further notice. This is very sad. The stay at home order ends tomorrow. Is there a specific reason why Nigerian embassy cannot be open? During this period, UK high commission has been processing VISAs and passport, same with other embassies. We have booked flight tickets and paid for accommodation that is not refundable. I may be wrong, but this is not solely an issue related to the pandemic. Ghana Embassy is open.

Sorry, Stanley, Yes, the stay at home order has been lifted but not the phase one reopening. Ontario is still looking at June 15 or 16. We cannot go against the law.

Please where is the next intervention? There’s not much visibility on when the next province intervention is.

It may be Nova Scotia or Calgary, Kindly get in touch with the Nigerian Canadian Associations to find out. They are the organisers of the intervention exercise in collaboration with the High Commission.

Habiba, The Associations in these Provinces are working hard to get a critical mass of Nigerians in their domain to get the intervention team to them. At the moment, Calgary is next in line.

Hello, please which city is the next intervention taking place. My student visa expires this month and I don't know if anything will be happening in Regina before the end of this month. Thank you. I look forward to hearing from you.

The Intervention exercise is currently on hold. We are working on the backlog of applications in Ontario and those from our last intervention in Calgary. The process will resume when we are done. Regina and Nova Scotia are at the top of our list. However, if you need to renew your passport urgently, please, apply and visit Ottawa.
