Hi Susan, I want to clarify. We booked a passport renewal appointment through the website and it let us select up to 2:30 pm, so we selected 2:10 pm. However, on the website is also says the passport renewal hours are 9:30 to 12:30. Should we make sure to show up before 12:30, even though our appointment time is 2:10 pm? We are also hoping to pay for the same-day passport option, are there usually lots of booklets available? Thanks for your time.

I was at the embassy 11th of February. I came in all the way from Northern Manitoba. I was stressed out coupled with the blockage by Trailer drivers in Down town Ottawa. I got to the embassy and was attended to promptly, so efficient. I want to say thank you to everyone working there, especially the tall big man who took my passport and photo. Hello. I just need a quick advice here. I came in for passport renewal on the 26th of January and was wondering if my passport will arrive before my scheduled flight on the 20th of March. I just read now that renewals done a week before mine have now been mailed. Just in case the passport does not arrive, what are the alternatives available to me? Buy a money order of 50 CAD from your bank or post office in the name of the Nigeria High Commission, Ottawa 2.Same day service is subject to availability of booklets. 3.Come with an Express post envelope. (Passport processing take 4-6weeks or more) 4.You do not need to come to the High Commission for an Emergency Travel Certificate. Apply and mail the documents to the High Commission. It is your option B. And if you are a Canadian, you can apply for a visa.

Please if you have an emergency, apply and come to Ottawa. We don't just go on locations for Intervention, it takes a lot of planning and other considerations like booklets for production. When we are prepared for any location, we will post it on the website.
