On April 11th I booked an appointment get to to Ottawa for passport capture. I booked an appointment for May 26th. A week later I got an abrupt cancellation of my appointment with no reason given, no offer to refund my payment and no new date offered. As you can see, I have not been quite active here. Yes, it applies to all applicants because we have no control over the number of booklets we receive. We treat applications as the booklets get to us chronologically.

Hi Susan, Thank you for the good work. Please we had the Passport Intervention in Halifax February 25th. I had sent mail to Passport enquiries to get my old passport sent back to me as i had an Canadian Citizenship interview and they have requested for that passport. But i am yet to get a reply. 1. Yes, Alex, the delay is because of the lack of booklets. However, we have made a strong case for the Interventions in Halifax and New Brunswick. Hopefully, we should get positive feedback next weekend. Pulling out an individual passport out of almost 300 is an arduous task. I spent two hours trying to do that for one of the applicants today. However, we will try to get yours for you tomorrow or Friday. I hope this is your real name here? Thanks for your kind words.

Hello Susan. Thank you for the much you are able to achieve. We are all familiar with our processes back home. But there is always room for improvement. Please two or more people have asked how they can be provided the tracking number on their return envelopes since they missed it for one reason or another. We have not seen any response in that direction. Especially for those whose Passports are on queue about to be produced so that they can start tracking when produced. Thank you.

Good morning, I humbly request for urgent consideration on our case. It has been over four (4) weeks since I sent a mail on the status of our International Passport. My daughter and I came for capturing at the High Commission on November 26, 2021 but unfortunately, we didn't have the old passport at the date of capturing. We were given a confirmation slip and informed to mail the old passports to the High Commission. I mailed our old passports with the confirmation slips via Canada Post with tracking #PG617683968CA which was delivered to the High Commission on the 25th March, 2022. I also added a self addressed envelope with tracking # PG596190245CA to be used for the return of the passports. I have tried contacting the High Commission for over 2 months for update without success. We appreciate your assistance in this regard.
