Hello.. why is it that no one is answering calls and replying emails . I have been calling and sending mails for the past 3 days and still no response . I have my passport returned to Ottawa due to incomplete address . I will like to rectify this . The post office which has the parcel said someone will need to come from the Embassy to pick it up and it will be take to their warehouse if it’s not picked in 2 weeks . I live in Kitchener and I can not travel right now as I am a full time student . Please I need your help in sorting this out . Thanks

Past three days? Yesterday was a public holiday in Canada; the day before was Sunday. We work Monday-Friday from 9:30 AM-4 PM. And as for your package. It was probably returned because there was an issue with the address you gave on the envelope. When that happens, they return it and expect a penalty fee for it to be picked up. We resumed today and have been under pressure because of the number of applicants who came for the biometric exercise. Therefore, it is essential to carefully check the address you give on your envelope before mailing it. The challenge with subsequent picks is not pleasant. So, please send your message via DM to our Instagram page with your full name and number. One of our staff on the page will take your note, and hopefully, they will call you tomorrow.

I think you should check the day she wrote this message before commenting on her 3 days wait for a response or call pick-up. She obviously made her concerns known before the weekend/public holiday.

Hey, I came in for a renewal on the 4th of April and the same day service was not available and was told I would get my passport back in 4-6 weeks. I have an emergency medical procedure I need to get done outside of canada and I need my passport. Please I’ll like to have my old passport back as I am to travel in the first week of June and I cannot miss the surgery. I have tried calling the embassy and it has been unavailable or no one picks. I am getting quite desperate at this point because my health depends on it
