In May I received my baby's passport (fresh issuance -part of Halifax Batch 1) stamped CANCELLED WITHOUT PREJUDICE. In line with your (Abu Susan) response where you advised that I should mail the passport back, I sent the passport back since May and have heard nothing from you since then. We want to travel 2nd week of September with our baby. Can you please clarify what the issue is and when we can expect to receive the passport?

My name is Sean Fasoyiro. I drove to the Ottawa embassy on July 26, 2022, from Toronto, Ontario with my brother, Dylan Fasoyiro, to get our Nigerian passports. I paid $200 for the ExpressPost to get my passport delivered in the mail in 2 weeks. My brother's passport arrived in the mail today, in the same envelope that my passport was supposed to come in. My passport was not in the envelope. Can someone please inform me of how I can get my passport? Once again my name is Sean Fasoyiro. I hope to hear back from you soon. Thanks.

Good Morning, Thank you for your response. No, I have not received my passport. This is getting very frustrating because I cannot reach anyone at the embassy via phone or any method for that matter. It is shocking and frustrating that there is no way to contact anyone in the embassy to get answers. Can you please tell me if my passport has been issued? If so, how can I retrieve it? I need it urgently, which is why I paid the $200 for express shipping on July 25th. If my passport has not been issued can you please tell me why it has not been issued till now? And when will it be issued? And when I will receive it? I hope to hear from you soon and appreciate your assistance.Thanks.

Change of name is done in Abuja. It takes up to 5 months to process.

You have to send your application ID and reference number/date for us to check.

I got back my child's passport a few weeks ago and while using it on a trip realised it was stamped CANCELLED WITHOUT PREJUDICE on some pages. This cause a lot of embarrassment and delays for us and is totally unacceptable despite the cost and inconvenience of coming to the consulate from our province. This needs to be fixed please. Kindly give directions on the steps to fix this issue
