It was an eventful evening for Nollywood stars and stakeholders in the film industry in Canada at the Cocktail reception, held in honor of a team of producers and actors from Nigeria to the Toronto International Film Festival by the Nigeria High Commission, Ottawa.
The High Commissioner of Nigeria to Canada, Adeyinka Asekun, celebrated Nollywood’s tenacity and resilience, as movies from their stock now dominate Netflix and most television programmes across the globe.
He reiterates that the orange economy is one of the areas Nigeria is looking to connect with Canada.
