The Assistant Deputy Minister, Sub-Saharan Africa, Global Affairs Canada, Antoine Chevrier, has emphasized the government of Canada’s commitment to a more efficient visa system to benefit its relationship with Nigeria and other African countries.
He remarked in response to the High Commissioner of Nigeria to Canada, Adeyinka Asekun’s call for more effective visa processing, especially for many Nigerian students with admission to study in Canada.
The event was the celebration of Nigeria’s 62nd Independence Anniversary cocktail reception at the Nigeria House in Ottawa, Canada.
