I came on the 16 of September. it would have arrived on Monday 21st November but Canada post messed up but it arrived yesterday November 24 after I followed up with Canada post. I want to appreciate the staff of the embassy for their professionalism during my visit.

Hello Susan, I want to start by thanking you for the work you all do. I appreciate everyone of you. Please I need your help to urgently resolve this passport issue. I came to the High Commission on Sept. 6th 2022 for data capture. My passport was processed and sent out by the High Commission. However, due to Canada Post Error, my passport was returned back to the High Commission. I have contacted Canada Post and one of their supervisors confirmed to me that this was a machine error on the part of Canada Post, being the reason my passport was delivered back to the High Commission on November 16th, 2022. Please kindly ask one of your staff to check received mails to the High Commission on November 16th, 2022 at 11:18am. My passport with the prepaid Canada Post envelop is sitting in the High Commission. Please kindly advice further on how this passport can be sent to me in Toronto. Thank you

So, this is how it works. Canada post does not return it directly to our office. They usually send it to a post office close to the Mission. And you have to pay a penalty fee to collect a returned parcel. Let them tell you the penalty and then you can pay them and send the receipt to us. Then our staff can use the receipt to pick it up.

Good afternoon, I came to the High commission with my son on the 14th of September 2022 for passport biometric capture for me and my son. We are yet to receive our passport booklets more than 10 weeks after our biometrics. There is currently no update on the High commission's website from the passport unit for applicants who did biometrics on September 6th 7th, 8th, 9th, 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th 2022. It looks like these dates were skipped from passport production and passport units updates on the website. Please look into this. Thank you for your service.

Do you expect that renewals from Oct. 24 will receive their passports before Dec. 16th? Can I pick them up from the HC to avoid the mail delay? Otherwise should we apply for an Emergency Travel Certificate? Our expired passports are at the High Commission as part of the passport renewal process, so we can't submit a copy of the bio data page as required, but could send everything else.
