Hello, I went for passport renewal in late August and my passport was sent out. Unfortunately it was returned to sender. I have asked canada post about it and they said it was not in their possession but with you. I do hope it wasn't thrown away as I need it urgently. I can't get in contact on the telephone line to make inquiries because I keep reaching voicemail. Thank you.

So, it means, you missed out something in your address while filling it out on your self address envelop. This is always not easy to resolve because, Canada post does not send it back to us, but to one of their post offices close to the Mission. You need to pay a penalty fee to them to get it back. However, they wont let you handle it yourself. You need to get a staff at the Mission to help you pay and get back your passport. So call the office after the holidays. Applicants should always ensure they write out the complete address without missing a number or letter to avoid issues like this one. We have so many pending cases like Amarannas

I hve submitted my application form and paid via innovate 1 services and booked my appointment on the nigeriaottawa site. there is a call out for "Printed copy of your passport interview invitation". I am confused what this passport interview invitation is? is the the appointment confirmation letter? asides the acknowledgment, and payment receipt and signed application form, i did not see any passport interview invitation. can anyone clarify please where i might get this?

If you did not get it, it means you booked via the immigration website and not the High Commission's website . Therefore, come for your interview with the print out you got from the immigration website.

I applied for passport renewal through the immigration website and booked an appointment from the website. I later saw the information that says I need to book the appointment on the embassy's website, which I went ahead to do. I have different dates of appointment and I am confused as to which appointment date to go with. Hello, Nigeria Embassy Ottawa, I just applied for a lost Nigerian passport and paid 142 CAD for the application and booklet to be processed by the Ottawa office. However, the requirement website says, "administrative fee of 50 CAD money order & another 400 CAD receipt of payment to the Nigerian High Commission," I need the necessary information on how to make these two payments before sending my application via Canada Post. 1. Please, do not send your application via Canada Post. You have to come in person for your biometrics with all the documents you got online after payment. It is stated on our website here under E-passport. The 50 CAD is the non refundable administrative fee payable to the Nigeria High Commission via money order. 2. The 400 CAD is payment for a lost Case. Also payable to the High Commission via money order. You are to submit the documents and the money order to the Security man at the High Commission when you come for your biometrics. 3. Also ensure to come with a verified NIN
