   Can a newborn be captured for NIN at the Nigerian Embassy in Ottawa? If No where can this be done? Also, is NIN a requirement for a newborn requesting a new passport?

   Hello Susan, I gave birth to my son (one year old) in Canada and he needs a Nigeria international passport. I know NIN is compulsory. Kindly confirm if 1. Local Government Identification Letter is required for one year old born in Canada 2. Can a one-year-old have a 10-year validity passport?

   I was at the embassy for my passport renewal,my experience there was surprisingly pleasant ,the crews were helpful and professional.every one was attended to without any unnecessary delay and I received my new passport in 9days. .
