A new Charge d’ Affaires Ambassador Abba Zanna-Kawu has seamlessly taken over in Canada, ensuring a smooth transition and maintaining the continuity of the Mission’s activities following the end of Ambassador Obioma Nzewuji’s tour of duty.
At a heartfelt and respectful farewell evening in honor of Ambassador Obioma Nzewuji, Ambassador Zanna-Kawu praised the sterling qualities of Ambassador Nzewuji and his significant contributions to the Mission over the last ten months following the end of the tour of the former High Commissioner, Ambassador Adeyinka Asekun. He wished him well as he proceeded to the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs for his next assignment.
Home-based officers and the permanent staff at the Mission spoke about Ambassador Obioma Nzewuji’s cordial working relationship and wished him well in his next assignment.
