His Excellency, Ambassador A.K. Zanna, met with the Honourable Ahmed Hussein, Minister of International Development, during a delegation to the hon. minister on December 2, 2024. The discussions underscored the strong ties between Nigeria and Canada, emphasizing shared commitments to fostering economic growth, capacity building, and inclusive progress on the international stage.
The High Commission has the mandate of advancing the welfare of Nigerians in Canada through its consular services, as well as promoting stronger bilateral ties between Nigeria and Canada, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, education, technological transfer, international cooperation, etc.
