His Excellency, Ambassador A.K. Zanna, met with the Honourable Dr. Andrew Furey, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, during an economic mission to St. John’s. The meeting focused on fostering economic partnerships and exploring opportunities for collaboration between Nigeria and Newfoundland and Labrador, with an emphasis on Renewable Energy.
The High Commission has the mandate of advancing the welfare of Nigerians in Canada through its consular services, as well as promoting stronger bilateral ties between Nigeria and Canada, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, education, technological transfer, international cooperation, etc.
