Pension Life Certificate

Nigerians in Canada who are eligible to apply for a Nigerian Pension Life Certificate may do so through the Nigeria High Commission.

Applicants should submit the following documents by mail. Your request letter must be notarized, and if you are unable to provide your original Nigerian passport, then the copy of the data page of your passport must also be notarized. Include all required items below, along with a self-addressed Canada Post Xpresspost envelope.

Requirements

• Formal Request Letter – notarized request letter from the applicant.
• Service Discharge Certificate – certification of the applicant’s service.
• Record of Service – official record of service.
• Nigerian Passport – original passport and photocopy of biodata page (notarized copy if original is not provided).
• Photographs – two recent passport-size photographs (32mm × 45mm).
• Supporting Documents – relevant certificates such as awards, professional training, etc.
